This photo was taken recently during my trip to southern California in Joshua Tree National Park. I like it because the trees are very unique and remind me of the trees from The Lorax!

This picture was posted by my sister on her Instagram account for our 18th birthday. I really like this photo because it captures the transformation from infancy to the present day perfectly. The photo also expresses the emotions of happiness and joy expressed by both our infant selves and our present selves.

Taken on Independence Day 2015, this photo brings me back to the carefree days on the lake with my family and friends.  I have this photo framed in my bedroom at my apartment here in Moorhead, and I can look at it during the bitterly cold months of winter and instantly be back to the warmth and sunshine and laughter of summer.
