Assignment 1.3
I chose this photo because I really enjoy Saul Leiter's work. He creates visual interest with light and form, and with the subtly of color. The way he captures people in motion in their everyday city life brings this energy to the photograph, making you feel 'there'. The way he captures the yellow truck passing by at just the right time, while the man is framed in the un-fogged part of the window is stunning. He also shows us how less can be more.
