assignment 1.3
I chose this photo because it sort of represents the birth of the modern era and always stuck out to me. These workers building what would become the iconic skyline of New York City, to me, represent the passing of the torch so-to-speak as American society began to shift from small rural communities to the sprawling cities we know today.
