Assignment 1.3
This photograph was taken by Alfred Eisenstaedt. It really speaks volumes of just how momentous the news of victory over Japan was to the people in America. To me this photograph is a perfect snapshot of spontaneity and pure joy. This and the story behind the photograph are reasons it continues to be one of my favorites.
